National Restaurant Association Show Recap

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at the 2019 National Restaurant Association Show!

It was our first year back at the NRA Show in over 15 years. We were excited to be part of the show’s centennial year and share with attendees our newest certification, the BPI certification. This certification is based on scientific standards that help to identify products that are truly compostable supported with verifiable claims. Our SuperSorb® CarbonPads are completely biodegradable and will not add to waste in landfills. Filtercorp is committed to the environment and producing earth-friendly products.

In addition to the announcement of the BPI certification, we had actual fryers on display with the SuperSorb® CarbonPads installed in the fryers. The Pitco and Frymaster fryers allowed visitors to see first-hand how easy it is to install and change the SuperSorb® CarbonPads. It was a great interaction for those stopping by and everyone enjoyed seeing what the process would look like in their environment.

With over 41,000 foodservice buyers in attendance, this was such a great opportunity for us to showcase our brand and what we are best at. Over the course of the 4-day conference, we were able to meet and interact with people who are the inspiration behind what we do. It was also an ideal place for us to learn and better understand the challenges industry professionals are having with oil consistency and management.

We appreciate everyone who was able to join us a the NRA Show to hear more about what the SuperSorb® CarbonPad filter has to offer in deep frying operations such as decreasing oil usage, having cleaner oil, gaining savings and achieving consistent food quality. We look forward to working with you throughout the year.
